Before becoming a director and creative director, I was a journalist at the Denver Post. And before that, I was a photography and journalism student at Syracuse University. And the blink of an eye before that, I was a lanky kid sitting in the backseat of my parent’s car reading chapter books and goading my dad into spinning long tales on short drives. Turns out, I’ve always been after a good story.
My style is fueled by a genuine interest in connecting with people. If I can honor the wonderful idiosyncrasy of every person I film, capture a true expression of who they are, and channel our collective human experience on camera—all that plus a good cup of coffee— that’s a good day.
